Introducing Virginia, the founder and director of Belle Été. At the age of 12, Virginia took her first major step toward a professional ballet career when she was accepted into the prestigious Royal Ballet School in London. Virginia quickly adapted to the demands of elite training, laying the foundation for a promising future on the international stage. At just 16 years old, Virginia decided to pursue a career at the Lido in Paris embracing the challenge of joining one of the world's most iconic cabaret shows on the Champs Élysées. After 5 years at the Lido in Paris, Virginia took on a lead roll dancing at the Loews Hotel in Monte Carlo for 11 years.
After concluding her career as a professional dancer, spending years traveling around the world, Virginia began to channel her artistry into a new venture, Belle Ètè. Whilst on holiday in Barbados, Virginia discovered the simple yet frustrating problem of not being able to hold her beach towel in place on the beach chair.
Determined to find a stylish and practical solution, she began to design the Belle Ètè Towel Slips, a chic and effortless way to keep towels secure on beach chairs. Inspired by the islands laid-back luxury feel, and her own experiences spending the summers on the French Coast, Virginia decided to create a beach essential that was functional yet also the perfect souvenir.
